Consultation on changes to Practising Certificates (PC) Scheme – 27 May 2021

Thursday 27 May 2021 11:00 - 12:00

Spaces available

This is a free webinar on the consultation on changes to the Practising Certificates (PC) Scheme.

The proposals come from a recent review of the PC Scheme which was the first substantive look at the IFoA’s approach to the requirements and process for PCs since 2010. It responds directly to feedback received on how the current scheme works especially that received from members and PC Holders.

This is your opportunity to ask questions about the proposals, which include changes to the approach to determining suitability for a PC (including the type of criteria used), as well as changes to the process for applying and renewing.

Neil Buckley, Independent Chair of Regulation Board, IFoA, will chair the discussion with a panel consisting of:

  • Edwin Sheaf, Practitioner Member of Regulation Board
  • Matt Saker, Member from IFoA Council
  • Hemisha Patel, Regulatory Lawyer
