About Insurance Risk and Finance Research Centre (IRFRC)
The IRFRC, which is part of Nanyang Business School, sponsors and directs primary research on insurance and insurance related risk research in the Asia Pacific. Through research, industry collaborations and seminars it aims to provide a critical foundation to create knowledge and support the growing role of the insurance industry in the economic development of the region.
Founded in March 2011, in partnership with global reinsurer SCOR, the Centre draws on the expertise of the School's Banking and Finance faculty as well as SCOR's global research network.
The work of the IRFRC comprises:
- Risk research related to insurance and actuarial topics
- Financial research on Asian capital markets and other finance topics
