This is a Knowledge Sharing Scotland (KSS) event.

We are delighted that the Integrated Risk Management Working Party will deliver a session entitled  IRM – putting theory into practice for UK DB pension schemes.

Members of the Working Party include Andrew Hitchcox (chair), Chinu Patel, Chris Ramsey, Ed Studd, Lok Ma, Marian Elliott, and Tim Keogh. This session is based on the material delivered at a sessional meeting held at Staple Inn on 20 March 2017.   A copy of the paper, Integrated risk management for defined benefit pension schemes.  A practical guide, is attached.

The Working Party has developed practical suggestions for those involved in implementing Integrated Risk Management frameworks for UK Defined Benefit pension schemes. As well as outlining “The 10 Commandments for effective IRM” and a range of tools that can be used to aid the process, the Working Party will present four case studies to illustrate the application of IRM in practice.
