Funding liquidity risk was the biggest risk that banks faced during the financial crisis in 2007/2008 and led to some UK banks needing to be nationalised.

In his talk Iain Ritchie will look at why a retail bank must face funding liquidity risks. he will explain how liquidity risk can be managed by incorporating the risk into a bank's internal pricing system, or fund transfer pricing as it is known.
