The new Technical Actuarial Standards (TASs)

The Financial Reporting Council is keen to ensure that actuaries are aware of the revised standards and are engaging with the actuarial community affected by these changes.  The session provides an overview of the content of the TAS’s, the approach taken to updating them and brings out some of the key feedback that influenced the final versions, as well as providing an opportunity for asking questions about the revised TAS.    

The first half of the presentation will be on TAS 100 and the second half will split into two simultaneous breakout sessions, one on TAS 200 and one on TAS 300.  They will include case studies.
