Monday 27 March 2017 15:00 - 17:30

This session is jointly organised by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and the Actuarial Society of Malaysia (ASM).

It is suitable for actuaries working in any area (i.e. it is not specifically aimed at Life and General Insurance or any other technical discipline).

The content doesn’t focus on a particular theme but covers a broad range of professional issues that can arise in your professional or personal life.

For IFoA members, this will qualify for 2 hours of Stage 3 Professional Skills Training under the IFoA CPD Scheme 2016/17. ASM recognises 2 hours for Professionalism from this session. For members of other international bodies, you may record this as Professionalism hours according to your respective CPD schemes.

Video case studies will be selected from the IFoA’s 2016/2017 online content which covers a range of topics such as:

  • Conflicts of interests in different contexts
  • Good governance, meeting management
  • Respecting confidentiality
  • Work review – the do’s and don’ts

We aim to avoid using video case studies shown at previous ASM Prefessional Skills Forum and other IFoA conferences, but cannot guarantee that there will be no duplication in content.
