We also recognise that we have an important role to play in enabling change in the profession and supporting our members
As such we launched the first part of our Diversity Strategy in February 2016, which formalises our commitment to ensuring equality and diversity in the profession.
The strategy builds on the body of work initiated by Past President, Nick Salter, and includes our commitment to develop an annual Diversity Action Plan, against which we can measure and track our progress
Nick Salter's Presidential Address was filmed:
- IFoA members should view the Address on our virtual learning environment to enable CPD to be verified
- Non members can view the film below.
Formalising our commitment to diversity ensures that it becomes central to everything we do. Our diversity strategy addresses diversity in a meaningful and appropriate way, enabling us to support our members in their day-to-day work, whilst ensuring the sustainability of the profession. Nick Salter, Past President
