Louise Pryor
Louise has had a varied career as an actuary, academic, software development manager and risk consultant. She has lectured in Artificial Intelligence at the universities of Birmingham and Edinburgh, before returning to the actuarial world as a software risk consultant. She was Director, Actuarial Standards at the Financial Reporting Council until 2011, where she led the development of the UK’s suite of Technical Actuarial Standards.
Louise now specialises in climate risk and sustainability, and is a Director of Callund Consulting Ltd, Chair of the London Climate Change Partnership, and a Director of the Ecology Building Society.
