Cherry has experience in advising a range of general (re)insurance companies on actuarial issues including statutory reserve reviews, pricing and Solvency II implementations.  She is also working with technology providers and Insurtech firms to help insurers find ways to improve innovations, reduce operating expenses and efficiently implement IFRS17 standards.

Cian Creedon, Treasurer

Cian

Cian works on the Risk Solutions team at Guy Carpenter, where he specialises in structured reinsurance placements. Prior to this he worked in a variety of roles in primary insurance, reinsurance and consulting which have afforded him a broad spectrum of experience across pricing, capital modelling and reserving.

Cian has been volunteering with LMAG since 2018 and is also active in the Worshipful Company of Actuaries. Earlier in his career, Cian chaired the London Market Students’ Group – which could be thought of as the younger sibling to LMAG.

Although he is aware that people rarely read these bios, Cian is always flattered when people buy him whisky – Islay malts, for preference, in this uncertain world.
