How to access CMI research

From 1 March 2013, most of CMI’s new research is only available to employees of subscribers and to researchers, for non-commercial use. If you are not currently an Authorised User, and want to become one, then please follow the relevant steps set out below:

I work for an organisation that is a CMI subscriber and I am a member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA)

Please check that your employer is correctly listed in your profile. If you update your employer, you will need to log out and log back in to the website for the change to take effect. If you still cannot access CMI outputs, then please email info@cmilimited.co.uk.

I work for an organisation that is a CMI subscriber and I am not a member of the IFoA

You will need to register as user of this website. Then please email your name, organisation and website username to info@cmilimited.co.uk

I work for an organisation that is not a CMI subscriber

You will need to seek approval within your organisation to become a Subscriber and pay the appropriate subscription fees. After you have approval, please email info@cmilimited.co.uk.

I am an academic, for example at a recognised university, and want to access CMI outputs for non-commercial purposes

You will first need to register as user of this website. Then please email your name, organisation and website username to info@cmilimited.co.uk.

    Dr Peter Joshi and Paul Timmers will share their research on how well-established underwriting processes can allow for genomics in predicting expected mortality and morbidity. They will then discuss the potential for stratified screening and personalised medicine to improve health and reduce claim costs.
