The IFOA organises a series of Current Highlights in Pensions (CHIP) seminars in October and November.
The seminars are designed for qualified actuaries and nearly qualified actuaries who work or have an interest in UK pensions. Our programme will cover highlights from the recent Pensions, Risk and Investment Conference in June and other current pensions issues.
Built from the backdrop of the economic, financial and political uncertainty from Brexit, we focus our theme on engagement. Among other things, there will be a panel discussion plenary comprising of leading industry experts and group discussion workshops on current controversies, including discussion on the BHS and British Steel issues.
In addition to the technical content, we are excited to introduce a Business Skill session on entrepreneurship for actuaries as well as the usual one-hour Professional Skills training. You can claim your CPD in attending these events.
