The deadline for receipt of nomination forms to stand for election to Council closed at 16.00 BST on Monday 23 May 2011.
Scottish Constituency
There are 3 vacancies to be filled and 4 candidates submitted nomination forms to stand for election - in alphabetical order the candidates are:
- Huw Evans
- Martin Potter
- Alan Watson
- Gordon Wood
Voting papers will be issued by the ERS next week to members of the Scottish Constituency eligible to vote (Fellows, Associates and Honorary Fellows). Votes must be received by 16.00 BST on 22 June 2011.
General Constituency
There are 6 vacancies to be filled and 6 candidates submitted nomination forms to stand for election. Therefore, no election is needed and the 6 candidates - Charles Cowling, David Gulland, Marjorie Ngwenya, Nick Salter, Simon Sheaf and Mark Stocker - will take office as Council members at the close of the Annual General Meeting on Monday 27 June 2011. The AGM starts at 17.00 and will be held at Staple Inn, London.
