Once the exam results have been released we provide an exam counselling service for students who were unsuccessful in the CA, ST and SA subjects

This is to help you understand why you failed the paper, how you can improve your perfomance in that subject and how you can improve your exam technique generally.  The focus of the counselling should be forward-thinking and you will be discouraged from dwelling on any specifics of the paper you have failed, but instead encouraged to consider an action plan in preparation for the next sitting.

Exam counselling will not give you access to the detailed breakdown of your marks, or access to your exam script.

You are able to choose from two options:

  • A comprehensive written report

    This is a detailed report to help and guide you about where improvements can be made in your next exam sitting, and to help you plan your studies. 

    Once we have received your application and payment your report will be sent to you by email within one month.
     

  • A comprehensive written report and follow up call

    You will receive a detailed report and a follow up call to help and guide you about where improvements can be made in your next exam sitting, and to help you plan your studies. 

    The call gives you an opportunity to ask the counsellor for further clarity on the report, about areas you think you need to improve in and to help you gain a better understanding and knowledge.  It is not a discussion for you to ask how your paper was marked, what comments where made by the examiners or how the marking process works.

    Once we have received your application and payment your report will be sent to you by email within one month.  Please note that once you have received your report you will be required to take the call within 1 month.  If for any reason you are not able to take this, you will lose your opportunity for a call and no money will be refunded.
