The CMI Mortality Projections Committee has been reviewing the responsiveness of the current CMI Model to new data and developing alternative methods for projecting mortality. It intends to release a working paper in June outlining proposed changes to the Model.
The Committee will hold public consultation meetings in London and Edinburgh to discuss these proposed changes and to provide the opportunity for Subscribers to influence the Committee's views. These meetings will be followed by a formal consultation seeking feedback on the proposed changes by September 2016.
