  • The Bribery Act 
    Friday 23 March 2012 at Staple Inn.  Registration: 08.15.  Programme:  08.30-09.30
    Michael Twomey, formerly a corporate lawyer with Slaughter and May, has provided legal training for managers and directors of companies ranging from small and medium-sized enterprises to multinationals.  At this event, he will be examining the four offences under the Bribery Act of July 2011, and steps which can be taken to ensure compliance.
    Essential learning for anyone who needs to protect their buisiness, their organisation and themselves from involvement in corruption and bribery.

    Back by popular demand, this masterclass has been designed specifically for actuaries by Simon Carne, an actuary-turned-writer, and focuses on three key learning points, reinforced with examples and practical exercises.  An optional second day will be held on 4 May for those that want to take their skills to the next level.
