The Life Board is a member-led Board run by volunteer actuaries that advises the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) on important life insurance issues. We are currently seeking a Deputy Chair to start in July 2020 and several new members that have fresh ideas and a passion for developing the practice area.
We are also seeking a Deputy Chair and new members for the Lifelong Learning Sub-committee that that supports education and continuing professional development (CPD) needs for the Life practice area, including organsing up to five one day seminars annually.
We are also advertising for a Deputy Chair and members of the Life Conference Organising Committee for 2020.
Finally, several working parties and Member Interest Groups (MIGs) are also advertising for members:
- Impact of Regulation on Risk Management Working Party - Deputy Chair
- Life Taxation Working Party – taxation expert member
- Longevity Catalysts MIG – Managing Committee members
- Modelling Innovative Pre and Post Retirement Products Working Party - members
