We delighted to have published our IFoA diversity monitoring report 2021.

Earlier this year we asked you to take part on our diversity monitoring survey to help us monitor the effectiveness of our diversity and inclusion policies and processes and deliver the support and improvements your need.

The survey, designed and delivered in collaboration with the IFoA Diversity Action Group (DAG), set out to capture information about characteristics that are used to monitor diversity and inclusion within an organisation. The data that we collected was anonymous, voluntary and treated strictly confidentially.

The IFoA diversity monitoring report 2021 captures key information about you, our members, alongside focused reporting on gender and socio-economic diversity.

Our next steps

We plan to routinely collect diversity monitoring data more comprehensively in the future. This will help us to understand whether the IFoA is equally accessible to different communities and enable us to deliver targeted initiatives and support in partnership with our volunteer community.

Diversity monitoring data will be used to support the activities of the IFoA Diversity Action Group and development and implementation of an IFoA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy. The IFoA Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy will be launched in 2022.
