The IFoA Health & Care Board supports and contributes towards public policy positions in key health-related areas and demonstrates value by being thought leaders in Health & Care through its research projects. The Board would like to increase member value by providing exposure to relevant research opportunities and encouraging a wider range of volunteers.
We would like to encourage anyone with an interest in Health & Care topics to consider joining our community as we are keen to build a diverse volunteer community.
As part of the community, you will have direct contact to the Health & Care Practice Board members and like-minded individuals to share ideas, discuss key topics and be kept informed of new volunteer opportunities and activities.

“We hope this LinkedIn Community will help us find volunteers more easily and ensure interested members are aware of opportunities to join our working parties and contribute to ad-hoc pieces of research. It will also help members to keep up to date with activity across the Health & Care practice area.
We are keen to welcome people from a range of backgrounds and with different skills and experience. We actively encourage student members and non-members to apply, as well as people from outside the UK. Our aim is to maintain a diverse group so that our research can benefit from the widest possible views and experience.
