One of the key performance indicators in the IFoA annual corporate plan measures volunteer satisfaction. This is measured by the annual volunteer satisfaction survey undertaken in February 2019, and we are delighted to report that this year, the 2018/2019 Volunteer Satisfaction Survey has succeeded in achieving a result of 82% ‘satisfied / very satisfied’
We are grateful to our volunteers for providing us with their feedback. Many volunteers also took the opportunity to share their thoughts about the experience. This feedback is important to us as we want to make sure we are offering our volunteers the support and recognition they deserve.
As with everything, there is always room for improvement and we will work hard to further embed our volunteer vision and to identify ways in which we can improve processes.
We all share in the benefits of the time given by IFoA volunteers (both past and present) who use their skills and experience to support, run, regulate and enhance our membership body, advancing our profession through cutting edge research and thought leadership. If you would like to join them, and play your part, take a look at the current opportunities to get involved. These can be found on our volunteer vacancies webpage.
