What will our Investment Strategies look like to deliver actuarial obligations?

This working party will consider the following objectives:

• Acturial Obligations: Cataloguing the universe of liabilities for which an investment strategy is required to backlog in defining investment strategy.
• Defining Investment Strategy: Identifying a common definition of what organisations should condider as strategy distinct from process revoked or tactical decision actuaries.
• Driven influencing investment strategy: Exploring the internal and external factors which influence investment decision making.
• Recent trends in investment strategy: Analysing evidence of developments  in investment approaches over reent years.
• Anticipated future investment strategies: Identifying broad principles for effective future strategies and the convergances and persistent differences which may occur across our industries.

Outputs:

• Produce and report on its finding and deliver a presentation at IFoA 2018 Risk, Investment and Pensions Conference and Life Conference
