CMI publishes CMI_2016 Mortality Projections Model

The CMI has published CMI_2016, an updated version of the Mortality Projections Model, and accompanying Working Papers 97, 98 and 99.  The new version incorporates recent population mortality data into the Model, and makes a number of changes to the previous method.

You need to be an Authorised User to access the new working papers, but an Executive Summary of Working Paper 97 has been published and is publicly available.

The Committee will hold a meeting at Staple Inn on 11 April 2017, in conjunction with the Staple Inn Actuarial Society (SIAS), to discuss recent mortality experience and the prospects for future mortality improvements. Further details are available from the SIAS website.
