CMI Working Paper 109 was published in July 2018. The working paper contains a consultation on the proposed “IP06” claim inception rates of CMI income protection experience in the period 2003-2010. Consultation responses should be sent to incomeprotection@cmilimited.co.uk by 30 September 2018. Note: this paper and the accompanying spreadsheets are available to authorised users only.
The proposed claim inception rates are issued as part of a consultation process and may change before final publication. Note: accompanying claim termination rates will be produced at a later date.

Note: The final “IP06” claim inception rates, which incorporated some changes from these proposed rates, were issued alongside Working Paper 120.
Other outputs
The data underlying the graduations is available to download. This can be used in conjunction with the “CMI Graduation software v0.2 (beta)”, which accompanied Working Paper 77, to replicate the proposed “IP06” graduations or test alternative methods.
A spreadsheet comparing the claim inceptions experience of the dataset with the proposed graduations, and showing the results of statistical tests and accompanying charts for subsets of data, is also available.
